Welcome to Knock Knock, the newbro-friendly corporation in the INIT. family!
The Initiative. (INIT.) is a nice and pvp-oriented community. We pay a lot of attention to be free of drama, racism, sexism, homophobia and any sort of discrimination.
We don’t even shittalk in local chat.
As a part of INIT, Knock Knock. welcomes players who are new to Nullsec and want to discover what a life in it has to offer.
Knock Knock is the perfect place for you if you are or want to be pvp-oriented and eventually join a regular INIT corp in the future.
In Knock Knock you will find
The Initiative. is a no-hand holding pvp-oriented alliance. So besides what Knock Knock plans to provide you, we expect you to work on your side of things to learn the game mechanics, read the guides and tutorials, make mistakes, die, reship and improve. In INIT we embrace the challenge - we don’t complain.
Being in Knock Knock will give you access to the entire INIT space (Fountain + 2 constellations in Cloud Ring + 4 constellations in Delve).
You will have to follow INIT policies and rules which regulate PvE activities, the market, taxes, moon mining, the use of intel channels and other things. All the information necessary to live by these rules is on the INIT Wiki and a Knock Knock specific summary is given below. Weekly onboarding sessions for new joiners with most of the relevant information are done every weekend on voice chat.
INIT uses Alliance Auth, Discord, Mumble and a Wiki.
By following the guides linked below you will learn how to properly set these services up and finish the onboarding process.
Until you have these set up you will not be able to function properly within our Alliance - so get them sorted as soon as possible!
Specifically, having all your characters audited on Auth is critical.
Your corp directors/recruiters can guide you through the whole process.
If you have questions or are stuck on one of the steps do not hesitate to ask them.
You might read later on the Wiki that INIT members need to have a “Ghost character”.
This is NOT the case for Knock Knock members.
On INIT discord, You have access to some channels:
Most of your discord activity will occur on Knock Knock discord. On Knock Knock discord you will find :

1) What to do with your assets in High-sec or Low-sec
2) Travel to your new home and set your home station to C-N4OD - Fountain of Resets
Set Destination.Prefer shorter and Include Jump Gates in Route.
Set Home Station.Pro tip: Once every 12 months you can set your home station remotely. So if you have not used this option recently, just dock in a structure with a clone bay, open the clone bay, click on
select home station, and select “C-N4OD - Fountain of Resets” from the list. When you have done that, click onself-destruct. You will respawn in the C-N4OD Keepstar.
MAKE SURE TO BE IN AN EMPTY POD WITHOUT IMPLANTS before self-destructing!
3) Carefully read the wiki pages below to get aware of Init and Knock Knock policies.
4) Look at the skillplans proposed below, select a pve path to spend time and earn ISK, and a pvp role to start with in pvp fleets, put the skills in queue
5) If you are low on isks, you can ask to be given a “starter package” with a few ships to help you to start in null sec.
6) Start socializing with your new corpmates, join Knock Knock comms on mumble, ask questions on discord or on comms. Undock and have fun!
7) Look at the weekly events (teaching sessions, pvp fleets, …) announced at the top of corp discord. Beware! the time displayed for discord events is your LOCAL time, not EVE time
8) Set up automatic jump bridge payments in your wallet. This will allow jump bridge structures (which function like a shortcut in space) to freely charge you ISK up to a specified amount of ISK per unit of fuel without prompting a popup window upon use. We recommend setting it to 500 ISK just like in the image below. Don’t forget to click on “Apply” at the bottom!

Read it 3 times!!!
Fountain’s Sovereignty
The regional gate J5A-IX (Fountain) / B-DBYQ (Cloud Ring) is sometimes camped by hostiles. Traveling through Cloud Ring toward FW space and Jita is risky. Be sure to have eyes, or think about using two other options: use INIT jump freighter services or use the wormhole metro (see below).
Alliance bookmark folders
Two alliance bookmark folders are available and are linked in the motd of the alliance chat in game:
“INIT. Bookmarks” folder is the folder from FCs to the alliance. You need to have it online if you want to use the Wh metro to go to Jita.
“INIT. Public Bookmarks” is the folder for the entire alliance.
You want to bm MTU’S so someone else can salvage? ✅
You are scanning in FTN and want other to know about a WH or site location? ✅
You want to share scanned DED’s? ✅
You have a BM and want to share it fast (there is no two minute delay if you move an existing bm) ✅
Every bm you make there must have an automated expire date (2 days or 3 hours).
New policy from the 09/07/2025: to leave space in init public folder, “detected” relic and data sites, which spawn due to Equinox explo upgrades, need to have an expiry date at 3H.
Other bms (wormholes, gas sites, regular data/relic, ghost sites etc.) have an expiry date at 2 days
For those of you who want to try industry, the corp has organized a large BPC library for you in the Sotiyo named “Alicorn Trevi Foundry” in B17.
BPCs are stored in containers in the corp hangar named “Blueprints”. You can only use them for industry jobs and you cannot open the containers and take the blueprints with you.
Put the materials required for the job into the corp hangar named “Members” and, in the industry window, set the “Input Material location” to “Members”.
Set the Output location to “Members”. That’s where the finished product will land when the job is complete
HOWEVER the hangar “Members” is accessible to all corp members. It means that another corpmate could take what you put inside this hangar. For that reason we recommend you to use secure containers with passwords in this hangar. Find more infos here https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Containers#Station_container
Init has two freight services who can haul your stuff from/to Jita in a secure way using courrier contracts, they are cheap and efficient.
Init. Freight:
discord: https://discord.gg/Bbr5y2tpwE
Website: https://initfreight.org/
Init. Freight offers a special discount for Knock Knock. members: instead of their usual cost (850 ISK/m3 + collateral fee), you can do your courrier contracts to them at 700 ISK/m3 flat cost without collateral fee. Maximum collateral allowed is 2 billions. Insert “knock knock” in the courrier info window. This offer is permanent as long as it is not abused.
Black Market Seeding (BMS):
discord: https://discord.gg/PGpYtztt85
Website: https://www.blackmarketseeding.com/
BMS has a special offer to help you to settle in C-N: a “one-time use” code for a 50% discount courrier contract from Jita to C-N. The code is valid for 3 months and will be given to you by your recruiter if you ask for it.
On this page, you will find some useful guides and tutorials about various topics in eve => Guide Collection
Every week you are given a weekly schedule with different corp events that you can join: corp pvp fleets, teaching sessions, Q/A sessions. These events are displayed on corp discord in the “event” tab at the top (displayed with your LOCAL time).
The coordinators who do the planification are Boutdechoux Malhorne and Wyk Bathana.
You will regularly be asked about which topic you would like to have a session, and the schedule will be adjusted accordingly.
Beside these events planned in advance, some unplanned fleets (for pvp or pve) can be pinged here and there when an Init member wants to take you with him.
Knock Knock doctrines are saved in “corp” fittings in game. Activate the filter “corp fittings” to see them and type “KK”, all suggested fits will appear:

We have defined for you
a set of pve doctrines to start with :
Venture for moon mining
Vexor for ratting
Probe for exploration
Thrasher or catalyst for salvaging
Epithal for PI
Iteron for hauling
and a set of pvp doctrines to start doing pvp fleets
Talwar for dps
Slasher for tackling
Burst for logi
Vigil for ewar
You will find the corresponding skillplans saved in corporation skillplans:

Skillplans have been saved in corp skillplans. Once you have chosen a path, click on the selected skillplan -> show skill plan contents -> buy missing skillbooks -> start training
We suggest you to
Train first the skillplan “Beginner starting skills”
select a “pve path” and add the corresponding skillplan to your skill queue: the most common ones include: ratting, mining, exploration, abyssals, PI. Of note this is a sandbox, so you are free to focus on less common careers, as industry, trading, etc. even if these activities are a bit harder for newbros. This pve activity will allow you to practice pve in null sec, spend time between pvp fleets and earn some ISK. Don’t focus on ISK/h ratio, select an activity that you find fun.
Remember, EVE is a game, not a job. Earning ISK is the mean to fund the activities that provide you some fun and to reach your goals, earning ISK is not the objective per se.
Also keep in mind that these are just initial guidances for very new players.
select a pvp role and add the skillplan corresponding to the doctrine ship: tackler (slasher), dps (talwar), burst (logi), e-war (vigil).
