- INIT uses Discord, Mumble, and a Wiki. By following the guides linked on our Wiki welcome page you will learn how to properly set these services up and finish the onboarding process.
Your corp directors/recruiters should guide you through the whole process.
If you got questions or are stuck on one of the steps do not hesitate to ask them.
- IMPORTANT: At first your access on these services (especially Mumble and Discord) will be limited. To unlock the full functionality of our services you will have to complete the entire onboarding process from the Wiki welcome page. This includes you having a Ghost Character in the Soul Machines Corp (see section below) aswell as all your active characters being added to the Audit section on Auth. Without these two elements you will only have access to the most public / basic PVE and PVP activities. In example the amount of Discord channels and your ability to join Fleet comms will be limited.
- A ghost is an Alpha Character that INIT deploys to specific locations for both offensive and defensive operations. If you choose you can make it Omega
- These characters are Caldari based and focus on T1 hulls with 100% SRP
- For additional details go to the ghost program page
- Access to Fountain can be achieved from Low Sec via Aridia, Null Sec via Cloud Ring, Outer Ring, and Delve
- Fountain is a large region with more than 100 systems with a diverese geography
Fountain’s Sovereignty
- Two groups hold Sov in Fountain - The Initiative and Serpentis (NPC) - for details on PVE/PVP relating to Sov see PVE section below
- Serpentis NPC space is located in the Phoenix constellation which is located fairly central, slightly eastern within the region
- There are known hostile dreadbombs located in NPC Stations in MN5N-X, Serpentis_Prime, YZ-LQL, A-1CON and WY-9LL
Fountain’s Key Gates (Do not YOLO capitals through these gates)
- Southern regional Y-2ANO (Fountain) from ZXB-VC (Delve)
- Northern inter-regional J5A-IX (Fountain) from B-DBYQ (Cloud Ring)
- The region is split by the KVN-36 (South) and C-N4OD (North) jump gate
All three regional gates are camped by blue tanked (awoxers) and hostile eyes.
The Y-2 and ZXB gates are each in range of NPC Station based hostile dreadbombs located in Fountain/Delve.
- INIT has widespread PVE activities to offer across Fountain, Aridia, and Outer Ring.
- PVE is defined as activites such as CRAB beacons, ratting anoms, mining in belts or at moons, data or relic sites, gas huffing, escalations etc.
- INIT does NOT have access to Imperium Sov regions such as Delve, Querious, and Period Basis when it comes to PVE activites.
- Activites in NPC held areas of space are allowed, NPC Delve, NPC Outer Ring or NPC Fountain for example. NPC Space is free-for-all.
- You are encouraged to join Groups and Secure Groups to gain access to different Discord channels and interest groups
Secure groups usually require a certain degree of FAT activity to join. Sometimes you even need vouches or have to be in the alliance for a certain amount of time. Regular groups can usually be joined instantly.
- Key rules for ratting
Capitals that are tackled should request support in the core-space-defence channel on Discord and ping according to the messages pinned in that channel. It is recommended to have the form filled out prior to launching PVE activities.
- INIT has a variety of fleet types ranging from strategic operations, hunting, ADMs, etc
- INIT strategic fleets are classified as follows:
- CTA: Less than 5 per year - think M2 / Titan Fights / Staging Fort Defense
- Alpha: Need lots of folks in fleet - a step up from standard strat op. Less than 15 per year
- Beta/QRF: Standard strat op - sometimes multiple per day
- Gamma: A step below standard strat op - likely something important that requires fewer numbers
- Any fleet without the above classifications in the name is not strategic and is not eligble for SRP
Fleets by the name of QRF are used to defend INIT infrastructure and PVE capitals that are under attack.
All strategic INIT PVP activities are eligible for Fleet Activity Tracking (FATs)
INIT Doctrines are located on the Auth Fittings Page.
